DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: Kitchen Equipment for the new cafeteria at Sullivan Elementary School
PROPOSAL DUE DATE AND TIME: Tuesday, July 28th, 2009 2:00 p.m.


Competitive Sealed Proposals for the project described above will be received by the San Benito Consolidated Independent School District (SBCISD), by the proposals due dates and times mentioned above at the Administration Building Board Room, 240 North Crockett, San Benito, Texas 78586 and then and there publicly opened and read aloud.

Copies of the Contract Documents, including Plans and Project Manual. Bidding Documents, Conditions of the Contract for Construction and Specifications may be obtained at the office of Adrian Garcia, Purchasing Agent, 240 North Crockett Street, San Benito, Texas 78586, phone (956) 361-6390, or through our website: www.sbcisd.net

A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the largest possible total bid including consideration, of alternates must accompany each proposal. Failure to provide the bid bond will constitute a non-responsive proposal and the proposal will not be considered. All sites can be made accessible for proposers to inspect. Proposers are encouraged to visit the sites and assess existing conditions.

The successful bidder will be required to provide 100% performance and payment bonds. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the 5% bond to SBCISD as liquidated damages. No bid may be withdrawn for a period or 60 days.
